Hazel Grove Baptist church

With over 9,000 households in the Stockport area defined a living in poverty, HGBC, in conjunction with other Churches run and operate Stockport Foodbank. Working closely with the Trussell Trust, the Foodbank offers 3 day emergency food parcels to those within our community who have been referred to us by the Social Services or other frontline agencies.
By working closely with such agencies the Foodbank is directing much needed help to families who are struggling to put food on the table. For people on low incomes,  facing redundancy, benefit changes and delays or even an unexpected bill, it can mean going hungry.
Stockport Foodbank can now provide emergency food and supports local people in crisis helping them through their times of difficulty.
Stockport Foodbank is based at main 5 centres around Stockport Hazel Grove, St Mark’s Bredbury, St Martin's in Heaton Norris, The Bairstow Centre in Reddish and Trinity Church Cheadle.  We are open 6 days a week and our opening times are on the Foodbank website www.stockport.foodbank.org.uk
